“the hands of the dancer / the temple of the dreamer” is available as a CD or a CD/DVD set from finite state records. The DVD contains 5.1 and stereo mixes of the 21 minute audiovisual piece “the hands of the dancer”. The soundtrack to “the hands of the dancer” appears on the album CD, whose artwork is comprised of images from the video.

Credits:
All tracks Freida Abtan except for “cackles of my heart” and “electric smudge” Freida Abtan and Steven Stapleton with help from Colin Potter. Some of the sounds on those two songs as well as on “the act of repetition” were recorded with the help of James Duhamel. “shimmer and dissolve” was originally composed for Tilt as a tribute to the work of Hugh LeCaine and is dedicated to Constantine. With the exception of this song, all tracks were mastered by Dominique Bassal in his studio.
The album contains low bass and may crackle on some systems.
