Place the stones the length of your path so that they are a comfortable stepping distance apart and then start setting them into the gravel. Pea gravel is easy to dig so you can simply use your hands to scoop out a hole for each stonethen push down on the stone with both hands and wiggle it downward into the gravel until it is stable. Remember to wear work gloves and steel toed shoes when handling these heavy stoneslift with your legs not your back. Thats pretty much it. You now have an attractive durable weed resistant path which you can enjoy for many years to come.

When using shaped objects (such as pebbles) where you dont want them buried in the concrete but would like an even surface after placing them on top of the stone cover with a piece of wood larger than the stone and press evenly. It may take a few tries to figure out the right pressure but the professional look will add to its attractiveness.
